Immunisations

List of Immunisations available at the surgery

Hepatitis B

Offered routinely to new-born babies, the immunisation is given in 4 doses.

DTAP, IPV & Hib -
(Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Whooping Cough, Haemophilus Influenzae Type B)

5-in-1 vaccination offered routinely to new-born babies.

Meningitis B

Vaccination offered to children aged 2 - 24 months.

Meningitis ACWY

Vaccination offered to adults aged 18 years.

Meningitis Booster

Vaccination offered for people aged 14-26 years old, only for those who did not receive vaccination during school programme.

MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)

Vaccination offered for people aged 16 years and above, only for those who did not receive vaccination during school programme.

Pertussis

Vaccination offered to pregnant women.

Pneumococcal

Vaccination offered to patients aged 65 or above.

Rotavirus

Vaccination available to new-born babies before they reach 6 months, vaccine given in two doses.

Cholera

Vaccination available to people aged 2 years or above, with boosters required two years following initial vaccination for anyone above the age of 6.

Typhoid

Vaccination available for those who are to travel in at-risk destinations. Vaccine must be administered at least 1 week prior to departure.

Yellow Fever

Vaccination available to people aged 9 months - 59 years old.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccination

Vaccination offered to patients over the age of 65, pregnant women or those who are at-risk due to a medical condition.

Nasal flu vaccination offered to children aged 2,3 and 4 years.
