Appointments

calendarAll consultations are by appointment, which can be made in person, telephone or for routine matters via our Online Booking facility. An appointment is for one person only. We try to see you promptly but delays do occur, especially when emergencies arise. If there is a significant delay reception staff will inform you.

If you require a chaperone during your consultation please advise reception if possible before your appointment or ask your clinician who will arrange for some one to be present during your examination.

If you cannot keep your appointment please let us know at the earliest opportunity so that we can offer it to someone else.

Please note that on average routine appointments may not be available for up to 2 weeks from the date requested. If you need to see a specific clinician this waiting time may increase up to 4 weeks from date of request.

Urgent Appointments

If your medical condition cannot be left overnight, we will see you on the same day, even if there are no routine appointments left. Generally we are better able to deal with extra patients in the morning surgery.

Telephone Advice

Doctors aim to be available for telephone advice after morning surgery. It will help the doctor if you can let the receptionist know why you are calling.
